Abstract

Now, in the post-epidemic era, people no longer need to wear masks in their daily lives when going out. As a result, they have started to pay more attention to the condition of their skin. Patients with more severe anxiety may experience "appearance anxiety". With the widespread use of the Internet and the popularity of skincare products, many people have become accustomed to searching directly for information about symptoms and related medications to address their skin discomfort quickly. They then make their judgments before purchasing and using the products right away. However, individuals without professional knowledge may worsen their facial skin condition by using products that are not suitable for their skin if they make incorrect judgments. If there were an identification platform to help people identify their skin problems and provide appropriate skincare measures, it would certainly reduce the occurrence of incorrect assessments.

This research aims to develop the "Beauty Model-Professional Skin Condition AI Detection Platform" to train image recognition models for skin-related diseases. The model will be improved by expanding the image dataset to provide users with a comprehensive skin health assessment. This research will develop a set of identification platforms designed in a web-based structure to align with the internet usage patterns of modern users. After users import skin images, the system will automatically provide the current skin condition, such as Ectopia, Dermatitis, Eczema, Urticaria, and Psoriasis vary in their likelihood of occurrence and require specific medical advice. To improve collaboration with the web page operation of the system, we use the Google Teachable Machine platform to train the MobileNetV3 model for model selection in the detection system.

We hope that the "Beauty Model-Professional Skin Condition AI Detection Platform" will not only alleviate appearance anxiety for most people but also educate the public on how to accurately perceive and care for their facial and other skin areas, including common atopic dermatitis or similar conditions. With the help of technology, we can help people feel more confident about their appearance and enjoy a better quality of life.
